The controls portion allows a user to specify the events and send them to the experiment or to file. Initially, the the controls tree will only show a list of predefined catgeories. The actual agent controls are based on the loaded modules in the experiment. Once the GUI has a connection to the control node, the control tree will be updated with the list of available agents.

The base controls dialog contains a tree of agent groups. Clicking on an agent type will display a dialog list the agent name, object type and a brief description. It also contains a button that the user can use to create a new group of agents. The FTP display can be seen below.

Clicking on new group button will bring up a dialog box that asks for the group name.

When entered, a new agent group entry is created and a blank panel is presented. Tooltips for each control will describe what each control does as seen below.

Clicking on a nodes button will display a node selection dialog.

Clicking on a distribution button will display a distribution selection dialog.

Once the selctions are made, you can see a full panel.
